The UBC game was so successful I am so proud of us all, we did such an amazing job. The highlight of my night was selling the raffle tickets, It was so fun trying to catch everyone’s attention walking by. Milica had a very fun way to catch peoples attention, she would flatter them first and then they would feel the need to buy a raffle ticket. It was very tricky and successful. The night went by so smoothly until the end of the night when everyone that was busing wasn’t able to get home because the buses were not running anymore. With the help of the teachers we all came up with solutions. Milica, Veronica, Puja and Myself all got a ride home with Mr.Matheny’s cousin. He was really nice and cool , we got into discussions about surrey and ” how bad of a city ” it is. We were all laughing and we all got along very well. I’m excited that he is going to be coming on the trip with us, he is a really cool down to earth teacher. It’s sad that this was our last fundraiser =( It was a really smooth one though and I’m really proud of us =)
I just got back from going to Edmonton over the last couple days this morning. It was a really fun trip, but I really missed home =( . It was really cold in Edmonton about -10 everyday, this reminded me that it is going to be even colder when we go to Mongolia! It was freezing at -10 I had to wear two pairs of sweatpants and 2 sweaters just to keep warm! Also when we were at the airport it was really busy, and even though we were just going to Edmonton they checked us fully. They made me take off my shoes, my jacket and even the sweater I was wearing. I was picked for a ” random pat down ” it was very awkward because they check you in places you would never think to hide something. It was very uncomfortable. I can’t even imagine how hard they are going to check us when we are flying somewhere international. They were so strict and it was just to Edmonton. Even though the flight was only an hour and 15 min it gave me a little preview of flying before we go to Mongolia. I haven’t been on a plane since I was 3 so I totally forgot how flying was. Our flight was very smooth but the pressure hurt my ears and I got several nose bleeds on the flight there and back. I am nervous for our flight to Mongolia, there were times on my flight to Edmonton where I was very scared because the plane was rocking back and forth. I hope our flight to Mongolia will be alot smoother. Mongolia is getting so close it is unbelievable!!! Only 37 more days! Can you believe it ?!!
First off, IMPROV-ing Mongolia.. WHAT A CLEVER NAME! probs to whoever came up with that I love it! =) I just want to give a big thank you to everyone that preformed today, the show was really great. We have so much talent in our class, I am so proud of everyone! Tickle me Pickle was hilarious, they did such a wonderful job. Everyone put in so much effort in this and it really paid off, it turned out GREAT. CONGRATS TO EVERYONE. Also I heard that we raised about 400 dollars, HORAY! =D I hope everyone has a good sleep tonight so your wide awake bright and early tomorrow morning for the bottle drive!! SEE YOU ALL THERE =)

P.S : WHO ELSE IS STOKED THAT THEY GOT TICKLE ME PICKLE TICKETS!! BOO-YAH!
Today as I was walking through the mall I noticed that ALL of the Christmas decorations are all ready up! Even Santa Claus himself was there taking pictures with all the little children
. I couldn’t help but think to myself.. Christmas already?! It also got me to thinking of how much I love the Christmas holiday, a time to spend with friends and family, a time to cherish every memory you have with one another, a time of joy and giving. Christmas is by far my favourite holiday! While thinking to myself of all the joys of Christmas I began to think about spring break and how we were going to be away from friends and family, in Mongolia. I began to think directly about Mongolia and how different it is going to be, and then I thought to myself I wonder what kind of holidays they celebrate there? We here have MANY holidays in which a majority of people celebrate. What about Mongolia? Do they have different holidays? Different celebrations? Will there be a celebration while we are there? I don’t know much about Mongolia and I have no idea what to expect but there is something about that, that I enjoy. The adventure and thought of just going somewhere with no idea of what to expect or what the country will be like to just live and let the locals tell you how to live. Just let loose and live in a way you never imagined yourself living. So for me, unlike most people I won’t be searching up Mongolia in google to find out what it is going to be like, or what we might be eating there. I want it to be a surprise, I don’t want to expect anything. That way I can’t expect too much or too little. I can just take everything in, day by day.

A couple of minutes ago as I walked into the garage I noticed my 5 huge bags of bottles sitting there. I first thought of how I am going to fit them in my fathers car, then I thought oh.. my.. goodness not another bottle drive! :O I really thought all that sticky ‘goodness’ was over
. I remember that was one of the first projects we did together as a group! It went really well, other than the sticky hair, gooey hands and smelly clothes we suffered through during the bottle sorting! After all the complaining it really paid off, we managed to raise a lot of money and that is what is most important
. Next week will be our second bottle drive, and I am really eager to see how everyone will deal with it the second time around. Will we still all complain? Will we still all run home after for a nice warm shower? Or will we all just let it go and suck it up. I hope this bottle drive ends up with the same results, if not better than the last. We can do it!

Last week in class we received a project in which we had to make a thirty second commercialabout globalization. We got to choose our groups, but we had to pick people we rarely ever work with. I thought that was a good idea because it is good to start working with everyone in our class, this will make everyone become one big happy family
. My group includes Maddison, Jeremy, Job, and Sasha. Although we are a little late on starting to flim I am very excitied on how the video will turn out. Just brainstorming on the first day with my group was loads of fun and I could tell that we all had great ideas to put into our video. Our idea for the video is the best I have heard yet, from talking to everyone else in my class. I can’t wait to see how not only ours comes together, but everyone else in the class as well. I hope we share our commericals with everyone! I also want to say thank you to everyone in my group for being calm and cool with everything. Your the best
and I will see you all sunday !

Everyone has their own characteristics and personalities that make them different from everyone else. I truly believe that there is not one person in the world who is exactly the same as someone else. This is a good thing, if we all had the same personalities there would not be any excitement in our lives. In class on wed we had a lesson which made me realize that our classroom is filled with people who have completely different personalities. In our lesson we were each giving personalities trait in which we had to act out while talking about ‘Global Perspectives to Mongolia’. Some of the traits given were chatty, boss, and flatterer. I got flatterer, it was hard for me because when someone would say something that I didn’t agree with I had to bite my tongue and say something like ‘ you have such good ideas! ‘. I found myself having to be fake, and it just wasn’t me.
The main point from the lesson was how we would deal with all of the different personalities while we are in Mongolia. We all know that some of us are going to be grumpy with one another and just need to stay away from that person. Some positive solutions I came up with are just taking some ‘me’ time. You can go for a walk, or just take a nap, also if you feel comfortable you can talk to someone that you trust. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to someone about what is bothering you writing it down helps as well. We have to remember to do things in positive ways, we should never yell or take out our anger out on other people. This will just put everyone in a bad mood, and that is one thing we defiantly don’t want to do.
We all were chosen for a reason because we all have different personalities that add spice and flavor to our class, some may conflict with someone else’s personalities but we need to have to learn to deal with it. In a POSITIVE way! I know we will be fine we all get along so well already. I can’t wait.
COLTS TO MONGLIA!

Hey everyone : )
I haven’t blogged in forever I have a lot to talk about! Firstly, I want to say congratulations to all my fellow Mongol’s. We did such a great job, everything went so smoothly and it all worked out in the end. I personally got closer with a couple people who I thought I would barely talk to during the trip. Some positives we all talked about in class were that we all worked together, always making sure everyone was okay and if anyone needed help we were on top of it. We had a few negatives but I would rather not bring them up again, we did such a great job we should just focus on the positives. There is always time for change, but it is better to focus on the praise : ) I look forward to every day two lunch I love being with everyone I feel like we are all a family. I look forward to the trip everyday I am so excited I can’t even begin to explain. Can’t wait to see you all on Monday!
Bye for now!
